Toxic Bloom, Room 1
Through the water infrastructure, you wander up river from the sea, polluted pipes spew detritus from our civilisation. You shouldn’t be here, there are the warning signs, but you fall in and enter Jenny Greenteeth’s lair. Experiments, grown and aborted. Parties already ended. Prints, rayographs, cages; love locks stolen from bridges and are now beneath the water, locking Jenny’s conceptions of love, fertility, sex, freedom onto her grimey home. She’s decorated her lab with her long plaited hair, not a girl or a hag, she can build barriers with her body very well.

Toxic Bloom, Room 2
Enter her boudoir, take a seat, join her children, sit in her entrails. Come in for the come down. Overwhelmed with her scream and heart beat. Wrapped up, cable-tied, squeezed in and suffocated in silk, satin, saffron, delicious… she knows how rich she is.

Toxic Bloom, Room 3
Back out up river to the river banks. People have been here, a holy well dedicated to an obsolete religion. Is it too late to worship her? Glass, ceramic, steel, duckweed and saffron votives left. What is the hierarchy of each plant, what value do we place on a commodity from the natural world, bringing it into our own. Which growth is damaging, consuming? Jenny doesn’t care. You leave her ecofeminist reality behind, stepping back into your own, back to the structures of patriarchy and capitalism that are killing us.
